• Account info: Email, name, password (securely hashed), optional profile picture
• Sign-in options: Google OAuth or Apple Sign-In (basic profile only)
• Household data: Bills, lists, chores, calendars, reminders, and shared activities
• Subscription data: Your premium status and billing cycle (payment handled by Apple/Google)
• Advertising data (free tier only): Ad interactions and device advertising ID via Google AdMob
• Technical data: Device type, error logs, and app usage for debugging and sync

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide core features: bill splitting, chore coordination, shared lists and calendars
• Manage your premium subscription and validate status with app stores
• Show ads to free tier users (premium users see no ads)
• Send notifications about bills, settlements, and household activities
• Improve app performance and fix bugs

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. Your data is shared only as follows:

• Within your household: Your name, profile, and shared activities are visible to housemates
• Service providers: Supabase (backend), Firebase (notifications), Apple/Google (payments), AdMob (ads for free tier)
• No one else - We don't share your data with third parties for their marketing

4. Data Security & Storage

• Encrypted: All data encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
• Secure storage: Data stored on Supabase's enterprise infrastructure
• Access control: Row Level Security ensures you only see your household data
• Retention: Active account data retained; activity logs deleted after 90 days; financial records kept for audit purposes; subscription data retained up to 7 years for tax compliance

5. Your Rights & Controls

• Manage your account: Edit profile, update preferences, control notifications
• Subscription: Manage through Apple ID (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
• Ads: Opt-out of personalized ads in device settings or upgrade to premium
• Delete account: Request deletion anytime in app settings or by contacting us
• Data requests: Access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us

6. Premium Subscription & Payments

• All payments processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• We do not store credit card or payment information
• Premium subscribers get ad-free experience and household-wide benefits
• Subscription follows you across households

7. Advertising (Free Tier Only)

• Free users see up to 2 ads per day via Google AdMob
• AdMob collects device advertising ID and ad interaction data
• Opt-out in device settings: iOS (Settings > Privacy > Advertising) or Android (Settings > Google > Ads)

8. International Users
